Assess the model provider, routing service and processing location together. Model choice alone does not determine where every part of a request is processed.

Choose from the AI models available in your workspace. Your organisation decides which options to make available and can change models as its needs evolve. Include processing location, retention and provider terms in that decision.
A European model provider does not automatically mean that every service in the chain operates exclusively in the EU. Requests can pass through external routing and model services; connected apps also have their own hosting and data policies. Assess the complete workflow against your requirements.

Is European hosting the same as sovereign AI?
Hosting describes where services run. Sovereignty also concerns who operates them, which laws and agreements apply and which dependencies remain. Unifyr’s European platform hosting is one part of that assessment; include model services and connected apps as well.
What can my organisation control in Unifyr?
